A general introduction to how financial exchanges work: order books, matching, auctions, risk, clearing and market data. Written for readers who are not finance experts, it is not part of the EduMatcher guide series and does not document the software.

Edition 1.10.1 — 46 chapters. This book is versioned on its own schedule: its edition number is unrelated to the EduMatcher version (v0.77.0) and only changes when the book itself is revised. The quiz bundle is for instructors; the answer keys inside it are encrypted.
